The Program in Spatial Statistics & Environmental Statistics (SSES) was established to promote research and education in spatio-temporal statistics and in statistical metholodology for environmental problems.
After careful consideration, the Department has decided to close the Program in Spatial Statistics and Environmental Statistics (SSES). This decision is based on efficient allocation of resources. Spatial, spatial-temporal, and environmental statistics remain very important academic areas in our department. We continue to feature our researchers in these areas and their collaborations and graduate student mentorships.
